Handwoven in five Indian clusters
We buy directly from weavers in Pochampally, Chanderi, Kanchipuram, Bhagalpur and Kutch. Every piece carries the weaver’s name, the village and the days it spent on the loom.
On the loom now: Pochampally diamond, double ikat · laying the warp
In the room
Natural indigo, madder and pomegranate yellow on 60s cotton. Heavy enough for a December night in Bengaluru, light enough to leave folded over a daybed all year.

Shop by weave
Six techniques, each tied to a place. The difference shows in the hand, the weight and the time on the loom.
₹1,850of the ₹4,850 throw goes to Lakshmi, for nine days at her loom.
Where the money goes
Weavers set their own rate before the warp goes on. Half is paid when the yarn arrives, the rest within seven days of delivery to our studio. GST takes 15%. We keep 10%.
Maker
“The pattern is decided at the tying. At the loom, my job is to keep it honest.”
The dye yard
Most of our pieces are dyed with plants. Where a weaver uses a synthetic dye, the product page says so, and it is always azo-free.
